Saturday morning I jumped on the boat to Provincetown with my friend Sally Dean Mello, her daughter and a friend. Lightning shot through the sky as we sailed out of port in Plymouth. When we landed we headed immediately to lunch which turned out to be perfect timing – as it down poured while the four of sat munching away. The sun returned by the end of our feast. Walking the streets stopping in galleries and gift shops along the way was inspiring. We visited Mary Sheehan Winn who had her beautiful work for sale along the wharf in a little shed. At the end of the day we sailed back to Plymouth and were treated to a Minke whale sighting a long the way. Great day!
