DAA Winter Juried Show

Margaret Curran, one of our talented fine artists here at HomeGrown Arts and Crafts was juried into the prestigious Duxbury Art Association's 39th Annual Winter Juried Show. With over 400 works a year entered in 8 different mediums and less than a quarter accepted, Margaret's exceptional talent caught the judges' eye, this being her very first effort. Margaret's triptych "Dories" was accepted into the Oils category. Congrats Margaret!

And here's a plug: Beautifully reproduced giclees of "Dories" are available both framed and unframed at HomeGrown  Arts and Crafts :)

I'm also thrilled to announce the my massive scratchboard drawing entitled "Channeling Ben Franklin at the North End Bocce Courts" was also juried in to the show in the Drawings and Pastels category.
This is just his top half  - you'll have to come to the Art Complex to see the whole thing!

If you're looking for something cultural and fun to do on the South Shore on the 4th of February - join us at the Art Complex Museum in Duxbury where the show will be exhibited until April 29. The Opening Party is from 6-9pm and tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance by contacting the Duxbury Art Association.
