The Trouble with Twitter...

Ok - Here's the first of my New Year's resolutions. Fix my Twitter situation. I'm neither here nor there with it. I NEVER post. I'm just not very good at it. How are you supposed to actually get anything done if you're busy posting about what you're doing every ten minutes. And to top it all off other than a couple of actual followers I've got people that have stumbled on HomeGrown's Twitter site by accident ...quite obvious by their tags.  I don't really care if they like to wear high heels while doing WHAT!!? Is it really necessary to use such language in the little bio/statement/thingamajigs. And don't they have better things to do than search through Twitter to latch onto to some unsuspecting shop owner's site? Well anyway - I'll be revamping that whole thing after the first of the year, getting rid of the undesirables in the process. Have a good one.

  1. I hear you about Twitter. I tried it for a while. I was attracting some weirdos so I stopped talking to people. Now I just have my Etsy shop on auto pilot so that when I list something new it gets tweeted. That's it. Between blogging, facebooking and trying to make things..........all that social media is just too much.

  2. I totally agree. The Internet is a place where people feel free to do and say outrageous things under the cloak of anonymity.
I too, signed up for twitter, stumble upon, imagekind etc etc and it's too much for me.
Thanks for all you're doing for your artists, Lisa !!!
