Looking for something fun to do this Friday evening? Head over to the James Library at 24 West Street in Norwell for the opening of the Girls Just Wanna Paint exhibit. Two of the artists from HomeGrown, Mary Sheehan Winn and Sally Dean are members of a group of local woman artists who challenge themselves every month with an object or idea that they incorporate into a painting. The results of several of these challenges will be on display at the James Library for the month of December with the opening reception being this Friday from 6-9pm. You can check out the progress of the group by visiting the Girls Just Wanna Paint Challenge blog.
My name is Lisa Lamothe Mackin. I am a lucky woman, bathed in light at my studio. There I experiment daily - creating scratchboard illustrations, making prints, or working on the newest addition to my polymer clay jewelry line Boston Baked Beads...and whatever else may pique my interest.
